London is full of unique festive experiences to entertain you over the Christmas season. We are sharing some of our favourites that we are sure will get you into the Christmas spirit from movie favourites to getting out on the water!
Hogwarts in the Snow
See the Harry Potter Studio Tour transform into a festive wonderland from the 12th of November 2022 to the 15th of January 2023. See the Great Hall dressed for the Yule Ball, snowfall covering the likes of the Forbidden Forest and Diagon Alley and the Gryffindor Common Room decorated ready for Ron, Harry and Hermione to enjoy Christmas Day. It is a truly magical time to visit.
RHS Glow at Wisley Gardens
Head to Wisley Gardens after sunset from the 17th of November 2022 to the 8th of January 2023. Here you will see the gardens transformed into spectacular illuminations. Follow a trail through the the highlights of the gardens where there are lights, music and even a little fire.
Christmas at Windsor Castle
Visit Windsor Castle on selected days between the 24th of November 2022 and the 2nd of January 2023 to see it adorned with decorations. Centred around the 20-foot Christmas tree in St George’s Hall, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy. Taste the festive menu in the café, try crafts or workshops and listen to school and community choirs.
Festive Thames River Cruise
If you are looking for something different, why not try a festive cruise on the Thames with City Experiences. Enjoy some bubbles, delicious food, dancing and the twinkling city lights on the water.
12 Days of Christmas at the Tower of London
See the 12 Days of Christmas during the festive season at the Tower of London from the 23rd of November 2022 to the 3rd of January 2023. Keep your eyes peeled while you explore the castle home to the Crown Jewels as the classic carol is brought to life around you.
