It is one week until the beginning of spring so we thought we would share our favourite 3 UK cities during this time of year.
St Stephen’s Green is a magical place to see the not only the famous cherry blossom but also weeping willows and an array of tulips. Hire a bike to explore Europe’s largest public park, Phoenix Park where Ireland’s garden festival Bloom in the Park takes place at the end of May.
Bright yellow gorse blankets Arthurs Seat throughout the season while cherry blossom lines avenues in The Meadows park. Additionally, if you are travelling with children the International Science Festival takes place in April while the Children’s Festival is in May.
London is famous for the picturesque wisteria that blooms from April to May and Bedford Gardens in Notting Hill is one of the best places to see it. The legendary Oxford v Cambridge boat race also takes place in April or alternatively visit in May for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
